Neighborhood View of the Day:
Boston Harbor saw some pre-4th fireworks last week and if you’re on the right side of the North End, you will be able to enjoy the big show on the Esplanade on Thursday night, July 4th, starting at 9:30 pm.

North End / Waterfront Events on the Calendar:
- Old Ironsides Turnaround – From 10:30 am to 12:30 pm, the USS Constitution will get underway in Boston Harbor for her annual turnaround. Listen for some canon shots when it passes the Coast Guard base and a 21-gun salute when she reaches Castle Island for the turnaround. Great viewing nearly anywhere along the waterfront. See ussconstitution.org.
- Starting at 12pm, ROC Teen Saturday invites everyone to the Mirabella Pool for a July 4th BBQ! Runs all afternoon with music, food and rides. See the event post.
- There are no fireworks on Boston Harbor for July 4th, but there are many viewing spots to the big fireworks show on the Charles River and Esplanade. The fireworks display starts at 9:30 pm, a half hour earlier than last year. See July4th.org.
