The annual “Piazza Italia” is scheduled for Sunday June 2, 2013 from 10am to 8pm at Christopher Columbus Park on Atlantic Avenue in the North End of Boston.
The event is free, open to the public with exhibits, children’s area and Italian music. Childrens performances will begin around 11:00 am. At 5:00 pm, a concert will be held featuring Gian Aurelio Faraone, Moreno Fruzzetti, Newpoli, Enzo Amara, Enzo Mannone and Ross Zagami. Sponsored by Federazione Associazioni Italiane ed Italo-Americane di New England e Comitato degli Italiani all’Estero.
There will also be the annual bocce tournament the day before on Saturday, June 1, 2013 at Langone Park on Commercial Street, starting at 10:00 am.
