Monica’s Mercato at 130 Salem St. in the North End has expanded into the adjacent storefront and is now open for business. North Ender, Adam Castiglioni, of the Boston Hospitality and Tourism Industry Blog shares this news and photo. The old half of the store is currently being renovated and the whole thing should be done in about a month. Monica’s is owned and operated by the North End’s Mendoza family.
