The Good Neighbor Recognition Award for April 2013 was presented to Bricco Ristorante and owner Frank DePasquale, on behalf of the North End / Waterfront Residents’ Association (NEWRA).

The presentation was made by NEWRA President, Jim Salini, and Recognition Committee Chair, Janet Gilardi outside Bricco Ristorante at 241 Hanover Street. In addition to being a longtime North End restauranteur, Frank is also Chairman of the North End Chamber of Commerce. Displaying the framed certificate in Bricco’s entrance way, he commented, “This award is special because it comes from the people in the community.”

The monthly award is voted by NEWRA’s Executive Committee and given to local businesses and residents that consistently keep the areas around their property clean of trash and debris.
