Larceny of U.S. Flag from North End Library
03/12/ – 03/13/13 6:00pm – 11:00am
A Parmenter St. librarian reported to Boston Police that an unknown person stole the American flag from the outside flag pole. The flag pole pulley system appears to have been “pulled down” as the ropes were hanging all over the nearby greenery and the flag is nowhere to be seen. President of the Friends of the North End Branch Library, Robin Ardito, was heartbroken, “Who would do such a thing to take our American flag? Why is it always a few that ruin it for those who do care – especially about our neighborhood library that offers so much to so many. I can hardly bear it.”

  1. Gotta think there’s a camera somewhere that picked something up…tough to steal a flagpole without anyone noticing.

  2. this is the bottom of the barrell..whoever is found with this should be punished to the FULLEST EXTENT OF THE LAW…how sad that the neighborhood should have to experience such a low down crime..
