On Saturday night, the official tree lighting and debut of “Blink!” happens at Faneuil Hall Marketplace. Locals and media were able to catch a preview of the tree on Friday night when I caught this shot.

From 12pm to 3pm, North End author Joe Gallo will be signing his book, Boston Bronze & Stone, at the Old North Gift Shop on Salem Street.
At 5:30 pm, festivities get started for the debut of “Blink!” and the Faneuil Hall Marketplace tree lighting. See the flyer.
