On Saturday night, the official tree lighting and debut of “Blink!” happens at Faneuil Hall Marketplace. Locals and media were able to catch a preview of the tree on Friday night when I caught this shot.

What’s Going On in the North End / Waterfront

From 12pm to 3pm, North End author Joe Gallo will be signing his book, Boston Bronze & Stone, at the Old North Gift Shop on Salem Street.

At 5:30 pm, festivities get started for the debut of “Blink!” and the Faneuil Hall Marketplace tree lighting. See the flyer.

Whole Foods has started renovating the Johnnie’s in Charlestown, used by many North Enders. During the construction, Whole Foods is providing a free shuttle to the Beacon Hill store in Charles River Plaza. See the schedule.
