For as long as anyone can remember. the Nazzaro Center has been hosting North End Against Drugs’ annual Easter Party, and for as long as anyone can remember, the party gets bigger and better every year. By most estimates, this year’s party played host to about 150 children and parents which would make it the biggest yet. As usual, the Easter Bunny graciously lent about two hours of her time for any families wishing to take their picture with her outside the center. This was followed by egg painting, craft making and assorted activities in the senior center, a free raffle of nine prizes, all topped off by a puppet show in the main after school drop-in room.
Thank you City Councilor Sal LaMattina for sponsoring the puppet show and the board members of North End Against Drugs for the hours of preparation, event planning and game day availability. Special thanks to Mikey ‘Fud” Giannasoli for once again being the main sponsor of the entire event in memory of his mother Florence Giannasoli.
