Adult women are invited to join the North End Music & Performing Arts Center Women’s Chorus as we prepare a short program of classical music for women’s voices. The music director of this program is Rachel Carpenter, a graduate degree candidate studying Choral Conducting under the directors of Boston University’s prestigious Graduate and Doctoral Conducting Program, David Hoose and Dr. Ann Howard Jones.
Some musical experience is helpful, but not required. Cost for a ten week session for $150. This costs covers all materials, music scores, and your wonderful instructor! Attendance at all rehearsals is encouraged. The chorus will have the opportunity to join the Old North Church Choir and perform the final “Hallelujah Chorus” on Sunday, December 9th as part of the NEMPAC and ONC Winter Concert Series. The other performance opportunity will be at the NEMPAC Holiday Concert on Thursday, December 13th.
