Friday News & Views: Saint Anthony Feast Opens

What’s Going On Today:

“The Feast of All Feasts” opens at 7pm tonight at the 93rd Saint Anthony Feast that runs from August 24th through Sunday, August 26th on Endicott, Thacher and N. Margin Streets. Check out the schedule of events.

“Bear Language” performs on the Greenway Wharf District Parks, starting at 6pm. More info.

The Department of Public Health has raised the threat of West Nile virus to “high” in Boston indicating multiple cases are likely and the 2nd highest level under “critical.” A Cambridge man has been hospitalized with a 2nd case of West Nile virus. More at Boston.com.

Delaware North, owner of TD Garden, has a deal to sell the development rights to developer AvalonBay for a revised version of a 375-unit tower, called the Nashua Street Residences, over the North Station garage. Instead of condos, the building will be primarily rental apartments. Boston Herald article.
