Emeritus Officers Designated by Friends of the North End Branch Library

News from the Friends of the North End Branch Library:

At the monthly meeting of the Friends of the North End Branch Library on June 13th, Secretary of the Friends of the North End Branch Library, Jim Salini, read the following proclamation.

In this the 20th anniversary year of the Friends of the North End Branch Library, the Executive Committee of the Friends has voted the following:

For their many years of service to the Friends of the North End Branch Library, their dedication to the improvement of the North End Branch Library, and their continued loyalty to the Friends and the Library, we hereby designate:

  • Christine Bergstrom, President Emeritus, Friends of the North End Branch Library
  • Dorothy Raymond, Treasurer Emeritus, Friends of the North End Branch Library
  • Peter Greene, Secretary Emeritus, Friends of the North End Branch Library

Framed plaques with these designations were given to the designees. In addition, the designations will be commemorated on dedicatory bricks during the October unveiling ceremony. The bricks were funded by an anonymous donor outside the annual Friends’ budget.
