Successful Launch of “Tuesdays@7” – NEMPAC’s Free Summer Music Series on the Prado

The North End Music & Performing Arts Center (NEMPAC) introduced its new (and free) outdoor music series on the Prado, also known as the Paul Revere Mall, between Hanover and Unity Streets. The series, titled “Tuesdays@7” is open to the public and features NEMPAC’s talented instructors. The performance on June 28, 2011 was extremely well-received with a large turnout for contemporary selections from vocalist’s Chris Schroeder and Sherri Snow, Guitarist Jeremy Sarzana and Percussionist Brian Bernhard (see photo above; all photos by Monika Bach, courtesy of NEMPAC).

July 5th
– Jazz Improvisation with Gary Fieldman, Hilary Noble, and Scott Boni featuring works from the American Songbook

July 12th
– Opera & Broadway Night with Vocalists Sherri Snow, Chris Schroeder, Giovanni Formisano, Ralph Garcia, and Pianist Rachel Carpentier

July 19th
-Contemporary selections from Vocalist and Trumpeter Chris Schroeder, Guitarist Jeremy Sarzana, and Percussionist Brian Bernhard

July 26th
– Jazz Variations featuring Greg deBourgknecht, David Corcoran on Vocals, and Scott Boni on Saxophone

*Rain dates will be held in August.
