NEWNC Votes 6-2 in Support of Zoning Variance at 44 Bennet Street

Peter McGinnis appeared before the North End / Waterfront Neighborhood Council (NEWNC) on June 13, 2011 looking for support of a zoning variance related to a renovation causing a floor-area-ratio (FAR) violation at 44 N. Bennet Street. The project expands a headhouse into a penthouse residential unit, including a roof deck. The height of the building would increase from 42 to 52 feet.

NEWNC voted to 6-2 in support of the application.

A Zoning Board of Appeals hearing is scheduled for June 21, 2011.
