The Boston Harbor Association will host its 18th annual Boston Harbor Celebration and Auction at the Boston Harbor Hotel on 12 April 2011 from 5 – 8:30 p.m. Proceeds from this fundraiser will support special harbor education programs, including free trips for Boston-area youths to Spectacle, Georges, and Deer Islands, TBHA’s advocacy for increased public amenities along Boston’s HarborWalk, and TBHA’s work with waterfront property owners on sustainable development.
Guests will join TBHA and friends in the Boston Harbor Hotel’s beautiful Wharf Room for a dinner donated by Legal Sea Foods and a silent and live auction, featuring many one-of-a-kind items such as harbor excursions, weekend getaways, entertainment, and sports events. This special event has become an annual tradition for business representatives, community leaders, environmentalists, and public officials who have an interest in Boston Harbor.
