Missing person Eugene Losik was identified using DNA testing as the body sighted on November 8th in Boston Harbor near Rowes Wharf and recovered from Fort Point Channel. Losik had been missing since last February after being last seen at the Marriott Long Wharf Hotel.
Losik attended a friend’s birthday, on Fri., Feb 19, 2010, along with his fiance, at Sissy K’s a bar at Faneuil Hall/Quincy Market. Shortly thereafter he went back to his hotel, at the Marriott Long Wharf, and stepped back out for a bit with a friend. He returned to the hotel and surveillance tape shows he walked outside the hotel around 2:24 am, the last time he was seen.
Losik was a Raytheon electrical engineer from N. Andover, Mass. and would have turned 26 last week.
