Zoning and Licensing Applications 7:20 PM – 7:40 PM
50 Snow Hill Street, Damian Szary seeks a zoning variance for alterations to the existing roof including an expansion of the headhouse to increase living space as part of planned purchase and renovation of the building. A discussion and vote on this application is contingent upon demonstration that the zoning appeal has been formally filed with the Board of Appeal.
NEWRA Policy Amendments 7:40 PM – 8:00 PM
NEWRA Policy on Approval of Alcohol Licenses & License Transfers
The Executive Committee recommends amending the NEWRA Alcohol License and License Transfer Policy, paragraph 13(b) Hours of Operation, by: 1) replacing the words “the hours of operation shall be no later than midnight” with “the hours of operation for new licenses and for licenses transferred into the neighborhood from outside the neighborhood shall be no later than 11:00 PM Sunday through Thursday and no later than midnight on Friday and Saturday, and there shall be no extension of hours of operation for existing licenses or for licenses transferred within the neighborhood beyond the times allowed in the existing license” and 2) deleting the sentence “Additional restrictions may be appropriate in certain areas.”
NEWRA Policy on Neighbor Notification
The Executive Committee recommends amending the NEWRA Policy on Neighbor Notification by adding the following sentence at the end of Section 2: “The written notification must be distributed in time that it is received by Neighbors no less than seven (7) calendar days prior to the Zoning, Construction and Licensing Committee meeting at which the application will be presented.”
Special Presentation 8:00 PM – 8:40 PM
Paul Revere House Museum, Nina Zannieri, Executive Director, will make a presentation on the progress of the museum’s ongoing expansion project, including conversion of the c.1835 building at 5-6 Lathrop Place into an Education and Visitor Center.
