**URGENT**RELEASED TODAY BY “THE TOWN” FILM PRODUCTION**
ATTENTION RESIDENTS
DUE TO WEATHER THE CHARLESTON BRIDGE WILL NOT BE CLOSED ON SATURDAY, OCTOBER 3RD
On Sunday, October 4th we will be filming scenes for the upcoming feature film, “The Town”. We will be filming on N. Washington Street and Commercial Street and the Charlestown Bridge. The Bridge will be closed from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
Commercial Street will be closed from Hanover Street to N. Washington Street from 6:00 am to 7:00 pm on Sunday. N. Washington Street will be closed from Cross Street to bridge from 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Sunday. Detours will be in place to facilitate movement around the closed areas.
There will be No Parking on Commercial Street from Hanover Street to N. Washington Street from 8:00 pm Saturday, October 3rd until 8:00 pm Sunday, October 4th. There will be No Parking on N. Washington Street from 8:00 pm Saturday, October 3rd till 6:00 pm Sunday, October 4th. There will be No Parking on the North Side of Medford Street from 8:00 pm Saturday, October 3rd till 6:00 pm Sunday, October 4th.
Sunday, October 4th there will be a low flying helicopter working around the North End side of the bridge periodically from approximately Noon to 6:00 pm.
THERE WILL BE REPLACEMENT PARKING AVAILABLE FOR THE 100 SPACES TAKEN UP BY THE PRODUCTION. REPLACEMENT PARKING IS IN THE PARCEL 7 PARKING GARAGE LOCATED AT 136 BLACKSTONE STREET. ENTRANCE ON NEW SUDBURY STREET.
TO RECEIVE A PARKING COUPON FOR PARCEL 7 PLEASE CONTACT ONE OF THE THREE PERSONS LISTED BELOW. YOU MUST EITHER SHOW THEM YOUR DRIVER’S LICENSE WITH A NORTH END ADDRESS OR YOUR NORTH END PARKING STICKER ON YOUR VEHICLE. EACH COUPON IS VALID FOR ONE 24 HOUR PERIOD.
