On Saturday, September 26th, the City of Boston will be hosting the Inaugural TD Bank Mayor’s Cup Professional Bike Race and Festival from 3pm until 9pm on and around Government Center.

From Boston Police Department:
The following roads will be closed from 12 Noon until 8pm:

  • Cambridge, between Court and New Sudbury
  • New Sudbury, between Cambridge and Congress
  • Congress between New Sudbury and State
  • Court between State and Cambridge

Weather Related Changes in “The Town” Film Street Closings

**URGENT**RELEASED TODAY BY “THE TOWN” FILM PRODUCTION**

ATTENTION RESIDENTS
DUE TO WEATHER THE CHARLESTON BRIDGE WILL NOT BE CLOSED ON SATURDAY, OCTOBER 3RD

On Sunday, October 4th we will be filming scenes for the upcoming feature film, “The Town”. We will be filming on N. Washington Street and Commercial Street and the Charlestown Bridge. The Bridge will be closed from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
Commercial Street will be closed from Hanover Street to N. Washington Street from 6:00 am to 7:00 pm on Sunday. N. Washington Street will be closed from Cross Street to bridge from 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Sunday. Detours will be in place to facilitate movement around the closed areas.

Street Closures Impacting Wharf District – Franklin & Oliver Streets – January 17 & 18

Parts of Franklin and Oliver Streets will be closed over the weekend, impacting driving in the Wharf District. Closures and detours will start on Friday, January, 16, 2015 at 10 PM and run through to Sunday, January  18, 2015 at 5:00 PM. More details in the notice and sketch below. .
