105 Prince St Headhouse Change Receives NEWRA Support

The North End/Waterfront Residents’ Association voted 43-0 in support of a headhouse modification at 105 Prince Street. The condominium association is seeking zoning relief to rebuild and expand the headhouse on the roof of the 5-story residential building.

The headhouse and surrounding roof area had leak and drainage issues. Their contractor intends to add 2 steps which will raise the height of the headhouse by approximately 3 feet.

An abutter at 109 Prince St supported the change subject to a raised curb on their side. The condo association agreed to work out this issue with abutter and provide new drawings.

The ZBA hearing on this issue is Tues., 9/15 at City Hall. See the Calendar for details.
