11:00am ReadBoston’s Book Bike. The BookBike is an innovative addition to ReadBoston’s Storymobile program. The BookBike brings literacy activities and new books to children in an environmentally-friendly way. Located at Hanover Street & Cross Streets, more information.
11:45am Big Joe the Storyteller at North End Library. Celebrate the 28th Annual North End Against Drugs Family Pride Week with raucous and inspiring tales told by storyteller “Big Joe,” followed by refreshments.
6:00pm National Night Out on the Prado (Paul Revere Mall). National Night Out in the North End is one of the largest of the neighborhood gatherings with fun and festivities for all. The neighborhood block party will have free food and music by DJ Sal, view the event posting.
7:00pm NEWRA Parks and Open Space Meeting. The NEWRA Parks and Open Space meeting North End/Waterfront Residents’ Association (NEWRA) will be held at the Mariners House, 11 North Square, 2nd Floor.

[August 3, 4, 5 & 6] St. Agrippina Feast at Hanover & Battery Streets in Boston’s North End. The St. Agrippina di Mineo Feast will take place on Hanover & Battery Streets with the procession starting at 12:00pm on Sunday.
10:00am Mah Jongg Drop-in at the North End Library. Friends of the North End Library invite you to drop in anytime between 10am and 2pm for Mah Jongg games at 25 Parmenter Street.

7:00pm Opening Procession for St. Agrippina’s Feast at Hanover & Battery Streets. St. Agrippina’s Feast is the first “big” festival of the year. The society is hosting a 4-day festival with daily processions and a full lineup of entertainment, concluding with the famous “Tug of War.”
