North End Christmas Parade Postponed to December 19th

Due to forecasted bad weather, the North End Christmas Parade is officially postponed until Sunday, December 19th. The parade will start at 1:00 pm with a helicopter arrival of Santa at Puopolo Park on Commercial Street. 24-Hour Globe Santa Benefit at Improv Asylum, “No Rest for the Wicked Funny”

About 200 people crowded into the Improv Asylum’s North End theater on Hanover Street for a 24-hour non-stop benefit show this weekend. The Nazzaro Community Center held a fundraiser on Saturday, December 4, 2010 to raise money for the cure and treatment of cystic fibrosis.
