Video: Boston “Ahts” Festival at Christopher Columbus Park – September 2011

The 2011 Boston “ahts” Festival came to Christopher Columbus Park in Boston’s North End / Waterfront this weekend. The video shows clips from all of the performances on September 10, 2011 along with general scenes from the festival.

In addition to the music, theater and poetry performances, there were over 60 juried visual and craft artists exhibiting and selling their work throughout the weekend and there was an extensive interactive arts program that included mural painting with the Mayor’s Mural Crew, glassblowing demonstrations with Diablo Glass, paper making, bookmaking and other hands-on arts activities with the staff from the Museum of Fine Arts. This year also featured a chalk artist, puppet encounters and a photo booth.
