Attendees will then take a meditative walk around the labyrinth before walking to The KITCHEN for a seasonal cooking demonstration and free lunch prepared by chefs from some of Boston’s neighborhood restaurants.

Update on the Slave Auction Memorial at Faneuil Hall
Artist Steve Locke’s kickstarter campaign was successful in fundraising enough money to create his proposed Slave Auction Block memorial for outside of Faneuil Hall, however Locke has recently announced that he is no longer moving forward with his proposal. Locke says, ” The Boston branch of the N.A.A.C.P. had come out against the project, prompting Mayor Marty Walsh’s office to pull back support until all constituencies support it.” Read more on Boston 1775.
