The annual Boston Mother’s Day Duckling Parade took place on a drizzly Sunday at Boston Common and the Public Garden. Fortunately, the human and real ducks were waterproof to handle the rainy weather. Hosted the Friends of the Public Garden with Exec. Dir. Liz Vizza, Mayor Marty Walsh was on hand along with the Harvard University band providing entertainment. Peter O’Malley the Magician and Jenny the Juggler led the event’s games, face painting and more to keep the children “ducks” busy. Photographer Gerri Paladino shares these photos from this year’s parade.
