Annual Johnny Paolo Bocce Tournament
North End Family Pride Day brought out hundreds to Langone Park for a day of music, bocce and fun kids programs. The annual barbecue was organized by North End Against Drugs (NEAD) with activities including: petting zoo, balloon art, arts and crafts, art contest, kids talent show, baseball tournament, musical entertainment and information tables from Museum of Science, NEW Health, Save the Harbor Save the Bay, Mass Saves and MWRA. The RCN Ice Cream Truck was on hand with free treats. Highlighting the day was the Annual Johnny Paulo Bocce Tournament and live performances by Crosstown, Street Magic and NEMPAC. North End Against Drugs (NEAD) will be having our annual Bingo fundraiser on Sunday, January 27th at the Nazzaro Center. This is the bye week in football playoffs before the Superbowl. See more details in the event flyer below.

The 47th North End Christmas Parade brought Santa to the neighborhood in first class fashion via his own helicopter. The chilly but sunny weather brought out hundreds to the waterfront’s Puopolo Field for Santa’s arrival followed by the Christmas Parade through the neighborhood streets. Two marching bands played holiday music while costumed characters took pictures with the kids. Read More…
