Join NEMPAC on Saturday, April 8th at THE KITCHEN at the Boston Public Market from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. for an exciting day of music, food, and activities for the whole community! The annual Perform-a-thon, a benefit for Children’s Music Scholarships, will feature a four hour straight performance of NEMPAC students and faculty members, with special demonstrations and performances from Youth Improv Class, the Eliot Music Ensemble, and more! Activities such as a kids graffiti wall, instrument petting zoo, NEMPAC photo booth, and craft table will run for the length of the event, with a tasty lunch served at noon. This event is free and open to the public, and all are encouraged to come and learn about NEMPAC while celebrating music education and the talented youth of our community!
Announcing our Raffle Packages!
Thanks to generous donations from our local North End Businesses, NEMPAC staff, and Boston Public Market vendors, we have some exciting raffle packages to showcase this Saturday! Raffle tickets will be sold at 5 tickets for $10 or an arms length for $20, and the winners will be drawn at 2:00 p.m. the day of the event. Winners will be posted on social media and contacted via email to claim their prizes. Want to participate in the raffle but can’t attend the event? Night Out in North End: Enjoy a night out in the North End at two of its’ most treasured restaurants, La Conte and Tresca! Health and Fitness Fun: Get the whole family active this season! Join in at btone fitness for some full body strengthening, and Mystryde to indulge your inner runner! For the kids – join the North End Athletic Association for some summer baseball. Music Theatre Birthday Party: Donated by NEMPAC Music Theatre Director, Allie Meek, enjoy a music theatre-themed birthday party filled with games and activities for all your guests! Red Sox Tickets: Take me out to the ball game on April 12th when the Boston Red Sox play the Baltimore Orioles! Get ready for a great game right behind home plate. What is included: Two tickets.

Our hardworking student and faculty performers have worked together to collect pledges in support of our Children’s Music Scholarship Fund, with the goal of raising $2500 in pledges, which will be double matched by our generous sponsors. We are thrilled to report that we have far exceeded our goal thus far, raising over $3,686 in pledges! We won’t stop here, as the more we raise in pledges the more children we can serve through our need based scholarships.
