The City of Boston is forgiving parking tickets and towing fines from yesterday’s snow emergency (that never happened). City Hall says 3,353 tickets were issued to vehicles violating the parking ban that was in effect from 8am-6pm yesterday. Boston Fire was called to 78 Prince Street in the North End for a possible problem with a chimney above Bova’s Bakery near the corner of Salem Street. Smoke was reported from the roof about 6:00 pm on Monday night. The street was later cleared, apparently without incident. Photo by @bostonbibs.
