5:30pm Kickoff: Summer Fitness at Christopher Columbus Park
The Boston Parks and Recreation Department and Boston Public Health Commission (BPHC) launch the 2015 Boston Parks Summer Fitness Series sponsored by Blue Cross Blue Shield. This is the first of a three-month series bringing free fitness classes to parks across the city, aiming to activate these spaces while increasing opportunities for physical activity across all of Boston’s neighborhoods. 12:30pm Labyrinth Walk at Armenian Heritage Park [intersection of Atlantic Avenue and Cross Street]
Public program of the Labyrinth Guild of New England and Rose Kennedy Greenway Conservancy in collaboration with the Friends of Armenian Heritage Park. Armenian Heritage Park on the Greenway, this popular park includes two key features to engage all ages: The Labyrinth, a circular winding path paved in grass and inlaid stone, celebrates life’s journey. 6:00pm NEMPAC Summer Soiree on the Prado [Paul Revere Mall, North End Boston]
What better way to spend a summer night than with friends and neighbors under the stars with some tasty bites, a refreshing summer beverage, and great music…and it benefits a great cause! Proceeds from this fundraiser will allow us to continue to fulfill our mission throughout the community with affordable, quality arts programming. $75 per person one week before, ticket includes lite bites, an open bar serving wine & beer, and live music from our NEMPAC instructors and performers. 10:00am Boston Pride Day at Faneuil Hall [4 South Market Street, Boston, MA]
Faneuil Hall Marketplace is #WickedProud to host the 15th annual Pride Day at Faneuil Hall, kicking off Boston Pride week and celebrating the organizations 45th anniversary! Rain or shine and free-of-charge, Pride Day will offer a wide range of outdoor family friendly activities including live entertainment, musical performances from local artists, Zumba classes, etc.For a full list of activities, check out their event page.
5:00pm Spaghetti Supper at St. Leonard’s Parish Hall [Enter on Prince Street]
Saint Leonard’s Parish will hold their Annual Spaghetti Supper in the Church Hall on Prince street. Tickets are $20 at the door or $15 in advance at the Parish office.
