Boston Fire responded to an incident this afternoon on Medford Street, along N. Washington Street between the North End and Bulfinch Triangle. Discarded Cigarette From Rooftop Starts Fire at 16 Parmenter Street
Boston Fire responded to a roof deck fire at 12:18 pm today at 16 Parmenter St., next to Pagliuca’s Restaurant. A person admitted smoking and discarding a cigarette on the roof of the four story building. Estimated damages are $250,000. No injuries were reported. Photo by Bill Lane.
