The holiday activities are off and running. With the season in full swing, there are plenty of events to get you in the spirit. Stop by the North End’s Steriti Skating Rink on Saturday, bring an unwrapped toy to receive a free skate rental and ice time to skate around. Bakery Boss will be shooting a full’s day of baking and cooking at Pellino’s Ristorante, located at 2 Prince St. Bakery Boss is a series spinoff of Cake Boss. John Romano, Municipal Liaison MassDot, and Neil Boudreau, State Traffic Engineer, from the Transportation Department will come and speak about the implications of the Callahan Tunnel Rehabilitation Project. Steve Tocco is also coming to speak about the planned construction of a new Wynn casino in Everett.

5:30pm NEAD Goes to the Polar Express – Meet at Nazzaro Center
North End Against Drugs will be running a trip to ride THE POLAR EXPRESS TRAIN. This is held at Edaville Railroad in Carver Mass. Cost includes admission to Edaville and a ride on the POLAR EXPRESS TRAIN! The regular admission cost is $36 per person, under 2 is free. NEAD is offering this trip for $20 per person. Meet at 5:30pm at the Nazzaro Center, you need to provide your own transportation but we need to arrive as a group. We are limited to 30 spots.
