Boston Harbor Dredging Underway

The $310 million dredging project is underway near where Mystic River & Chelsea Creek enter Boston Harbor. There is much interest in what history may surface as described in this 2014 Globe article.  When completed this project will enable the new, larger Panamax-sized ships to use Boston Harbor.

Fuel Spills into Harbor from Boat Docked at Lewis Wharf Marina

The smell of gasoline was evident blocks away from the boat, The Golden Rule II, where its fuel tank leaked and spilled into Boston Harbor. The boat was docked at Lewis Wharf marina. The video clip below shows the scene and hazmat response.
