Since Christmas Day falls on a Sunday this year, passenger travel is expected to be consistent at Logan Airport throughout the holiday week, Monday through Saturday.
While passenger numbers will not be as high as the Thanksgiving week, Massport is still gearing up for a busy week of travel.
Plenty of parking will be available and getting to and from the airport should not pose a problem.
Any time passengers have booked flights, they should always check with the airlines for first hand flight information before leaving for the airport.
The traveling public should also pack smartly, avoiding anything that could cause a search at the
security checkpoint.
Taking wrapped gifts to the airport could also create a problem.
Massport will have numerous staff throughout the airport to assist passengers to provide a user friendly environment during the holiday travel season at Logan.
