The Nazzaro Center hosted the 2nd Annual Winter Wonderland and Tree Lighting on Tuesday, December 3rd. The courtyard was transformed with a Christmas tree donated by George Hadaya and all the lights by Steven Virgilio.
Santa was on hand for the kids with special gifts, hot chocolate and caroling. State Rep. Aaron Michlewitz and City Councilor Lydia Edwards did the honors of flipping the switch at the Winter Wonderland constructed by Steven Virgilio. Inside, there was hot chocolate and kids crafts.
The event comes courtesy of the Nazzaro Center, DePasquale Ventures, NEAD, NEMPAC, George Hadaya, Steven Virgilio and ROC Teen Saturday.

The annual Blink! Faneuil Hall tree lighting will be held on Saturday, November 19, 2016 starting at 8:00 p.m. This live hour-long show, co-hosted by WBZ-TV news anchors Lisa Hughes and David Wade, will feature performances by singer-songwriter Livingston Taylor, the Boston Children’s Chorus, America’s Got Talent finalist Sons of Serendip, Boston Ballet’s “The Nutcracker”, Blue Read More…
The Friends of Christopher Columbus Park (FOCCP) kicked off the holiday season with their traditional annual lighting of the park’s signature trellises on Monday, November 21st.
