The Nazzaro Center hosted the 2nd Annual Winter Wonderland and Tree Lighting on Tuesday, December 3rd. The courtyard was transformed with a Christmas tree donated by George Hadaya and all the lights by Steven Virgilio.

Santa was on hand for the kids with special gifts, hot chocolate and caroling. State Rep. Aaron Michlewitz and City Councilor Lydia Edwards did the honors of flipping the switch at the Winter Wonderland constructed by Steven Virgilio. Inside, there was hot chocolate and kids crafts.
The event comes courtesy of the Nazzaro Center, DePasquale Ventures, NEAD, NEMPAC, George Hadaya, Steven Virgilio and ROC Teen Saturday.

The cheer all begins at 6pm on December 2nd as the annual North End Holiday Shopping Stroll kicks off with Caffé Paradiso coffee, hot chocolate and carolers at the tree event. City Hall has announced the 2012 Christmas Trolley Tour and Tree Lighting will come to the North End / Waterfront on Sunday, December 9th, 2:15 pm at the Prado – Paul Revere Mall on Hanover Street.
