Today is Tuesday, November 5 – Municipal Election Day. The election includes Councilor seats for each district, as well as citywide At-Large seats and a nonbinding public opinion advisory question. Polling locations will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

After making the decision to purchase a full year-round license to serve alcoholic beverages, The Cisco Brewers beer garden in the Seaport will plan to reopen in early December as a winter destinations with warming tents and hot toddies, hot chocolate, mulled cider, ice skating, curling rinks and more, read more on The Boston Globe.

3:00PM Kids’ LEGO Club. Drop by the North End Library after school to build whatever you can imagine using LEGOs and DUPLOs.
4:00PM BTU Homework Help at the North End Library. The Boston Teachers Union sponsors a Homework Helper program in each of the Boston Public Library branches. The BTU provides a teacher to help children with their homework for free.
6:00PM “Meet Julia Child.” The Friends of the North End Branch Library will be presenting Delvena Theatre Company’s production of Meet Julia Child! The audience will learn more about Julia’s life and have the opportunity to view Julia on the recreated set of The French Chef, see additional details here.

5:00PM North End Neighborhood Night. North Street Grille will, once again, be hosting “Neighborhood Night” on the first Thursday of each month with 50% of sales going to support North End Neighborhood nonprofit agency programs, see additional details here.
6:00PM North End Public Safety Meeting; Note Different Location. Stop by 40 Sudbury Street for the North End Public Safety Meeting. Note that this month’s meeting will be held at A-1 headquarters: 40 New Sudbury Street because the Nazzaro Center is unavailable.
6:00PM Eliot Summer Camp Fair at 585 Commercial Street. The Eliot School is hosting a Summer Camp Fair for families in the Boston area to attend to sort through the many camp choices. This is a great opportunity for families to interact with many camp representatives in the Boston area and to ask key questions about summer camp programs.
