11:00AM VFW North End Post 144 Veterans Ceremony on The Prado. Veterans of the VFW North End Post 144 will conduct its annual memorial services to honor and remember the U.S. military veterans of the North End who served in World War I, World War II, Korean War, Vietnam War; and more recent wars, see additional details here.
12:00PM Veteran’s Day Parade at City Hall Plaza. Stop by City Hall Plaza to Enjoy the Veterans Day Parade. The parade will start at the corner of Charles Street and Boylston Street in the Theater District and will end in City Hall Plaza.
3:00PM Veterans Town Hall at Faneuil Hall. Stop by 4 Faneuil Hall on the 4th floor for the annual Veterans Town Hall, offering veterans the opportunity to share their stories from their time in the military, and establishing a greater understanding between local veterans and the friends and neighbors that they fought for.

Woman serious hurt by falling metal railing in North End files lawsuit against roofing contractor
Kimberly Frawley and her husband filed a civil lawsuit in Suffolk Superior Court against Winthrop-based Corolla Contracting Inc., after Kimberly was struck and seriously injured by a falling metal railing in the North End this past July, read more on WHDH.com.

4:00PM BTU Homework Help at the North End Library. The Boston Teachers Union sponsors a Homework Helper program in each of the Boston Public Library branches. The BTU provides a teacher to help children with their homework for free.
5:30PM Friends of the NE Library Meeting. Join in helping the Friends of the North End Branch Library at their monthly meeting at 25 Parmenter Street.
6:30PM Hidden Histories: the Development of Copp’s Hill Burying Ground. Join Boston archaeologist Barbara Donohue at the North End Library as she embarks on a fascinating journey from the world of the Puritans to the world of today via the evolution of Copp’s Hill Burying Ground.
6:30PM Old North Speaker Series: Vaccination Controversies Then & Now. This talk will explore the public protests in Boston triggered by the inoculation against smallpox in 1721 and by compulsory vaccination against smallpox in 1901, see additional details here.
