Thanksgiving may be around the corner, but for this “Fallback Friday,” we’re taking a few steps back to reminisce about the 14th annual North End Neighborhood Halloween party!
Sponsored by Boston Center for Youth and Families (BCYF) Nazzaro Center, the City of Boston and the North End Music & Performing Arts Center (NEMPAC) partnered up with the ROC (Recovery Outreach Community) to host this annual event on November 2 featuring games, bouncy houses, crafts, pumpkin painting, pizza, sweet treats and more. Hundreds came out for the annual North End Neighborhood Halloween Party at the Nazzaro Center. Organized by ROC Teen Saturday (Steven Virgilio) along with NEMPAC and the Nazzaro, there were dozens of games and activities, plus huge bouncy houses and the famous haunted house. The North End Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center held a party on Halloween complete with a pumpkin decorating contest! The winning designs were Sesame Street, Witch with a Walker, and Miss Piggy. Congrats to all the participants!
The Recovery Outreach Community (ROC) Teen Saturday program hosted its 12th annual Haunted Halloween Carnival on Tuesday, which brought hundreds of kids to the Nazzaro Playground for some Halloween fun. The outdoor space was completely transformed into a festive kid zone, featuring rides, bounce houses, super slides, food, drinks, pumpkins and more!
