The Boston Planning and Development Agency (BPDA) in partnership with MassDOT and the Greenway Conservancy has held three community meetings to discuss the new park coming to the Greenway’s Parcel 2.

The third meeting last week presented three concept design options to attendees. The goal of the meeting was to narrow down to one design concept for further development. The three concepts are as follows (click photos to enlarge).

This Was Once a Pond – features a raised boardwalk, tiered seating, and trees along the edges.
Tiered Grove – features a nature grove of trees, tiered seating, and space for temporary art installations.
Winter Garden – features resilient seasonal planting, a theme of light, and flexible chairs and tables.

Which design do you prefer for Parcel 2? Vote in our poll and add your comments in the section below!

The BPDA is also conducting a survey to collect feedback from those who could not attend the meeting. Complete their survey by October 14.

Web polls are unscientific and reflect only those who choose to participate. NorthEndWaterfront.com polls do not have any official significance and are only intended for the interest of our readers.
