Aliens and spacemen, princesses and princes, villains and superheroes: all sorts of spooky and fantastical characters took over the North End streets on Saturday afternoon. Hosted by the Madonna Della Cava Society and the Mayor’s Office, children and adults alike dressed up in their best Halloween costumes for the 68th North End Halloween Parade and Party.
After parading through the streets to familiar songs played by the Saint Alfio’s Band, children joined Maria Lanza from the Mayor’s Office of Neighborhood Services on the stage for goodie bags. Children enjoyed music provided by an actual Ghostbuster, bounce houses, games, and face painting.
