Fall Festival at Christopher Columbus Park [Photos]

The Fall Festival at Christopher Columbus Park took place this past Saturday, October 5, at the Park on Boston’s Waterfront. The annual event kicked off with a parade and then featured magic, storytelling, music, face painting, and more! This family-friendly event is put on by the Friends of Christopher Columbus Park (FOCCP).

  1. Great photos, Gerri! It was a wonderful day — perfect weather, smiling kids, great entertainers. 85 pumpkins were painted (we’ll get more next year :-). 145 sweet faces were painted by 8 creative volunteers. Little ones squealed with delight when they saw Baby Shark and Daniel Tiger. Peter the Magician dazzled. Jimmy doubled as stilt walker leading the parade and balloon animal maker. Big Joe made the kids (and parents) giggle and Jim the Bubble Guy created bubbles bigger than a VW! Thanks to all the Friends of Christopher Columbus Park volunteers and to the members and corporate sponsors who made a day like this possible!
