Lauren Michelle, star of the upcoming Boston Lyric Opera (BLO) Pagliacci, recently visited the Eliot Innovation School on Commercial Street in Boston’s North End.
The BLO will perform its season opener, R. Leoncavallo’s Pagliacci (Sept 26 – Oct 6, 2019), as well as its season closer, G.F. Handel’s Giulio Cesare (May 8 – 17, 2020), right next door to the Eliot School at the DCR Steriti Memorial Rink in the North End.
BLO used the Steriti Rink in 2018 for their performances of Trouble in Tahiti and Arias & Barcarolles, works of Leonard Bernstein. They also rehearsed CARMEN at the rink back in 2016.
Season subscriptions and individual show tickets for BLO’s 2019/20 season are on sale online at www.blo.org or through BLO Audience Services (Mon-Fri, 10am – 5pm) at 617.542.6772 or boxoffice@blo.org.
