The second annual feast of San Gennaro, the patron saint of Naples, will take place in Boston’s North End September 13 through September 15, 2019.
The feast, a festival to benefit autism hosted by the San Gennaro Foundation, will be held at Hanover and Battery Streets. There will be a celebratory mass on Sunday at 12pm at Saint Leonard’s Church followed by a procession through the streets. Each night will feature live music and entertainment.
The Saint Gennaro Foundation Boston, a 501(c)3 non-profit, was established by Frank DePasquale, Nick Varano and Pasquale Trotta. Proceeds of this non-profit organization will be used for autistic and non-autistic children, assisting parents and needy families from all over the world with temporary housing, meals and transport assistance to hospital services in Boston.
