Faneuil Hall Marketplace has announced four new variety acts to join its world-famous street performer program. Juggling, magic, clowns and comedy will add to the impressive feats on display daily throughout the Marketplace.

Daniel Forlano – Daniel performs in the universal style of the great clowns with contemporary comic and dramatic influences, verbally and nonverbally. He’s toured the six Georgspalast variete theaters in Germany, played the roles of Ellard in The Foregner and the Goon in It’s A Wonderful Life, and was spotted eating popcorn in the film The Invention of Lying. With a degree in Theater from Hampshire College (MA), he has since trained at the Celebration Barn (ME) with Dody DiSanto, Avner Eisenberg, and Aitor Basauri, each derivative of Lecoq.
Loco Lucian – Award winning juggler Loco Lucian has amazed audiences all over the world performing in over 5,000 shows in 27 countries. His world-class skills, dangerously funny comedy and lovable fun personality will keep you entertained and wanting more of his wild and crazy show. He has performed for cirque shows, street festivals, cruise ships, cabaret dinner theaters and theme parks. He has also entertained for notable companies such as Universal Studios, Walt Disney World and Ripley’s Believe it or not.
Michael Trautman – International variety artist Michael Trautman has been performing his one-man shows around the world since 1977. Michael first came to Boston in ’82 and began performing at Faneuil Hall and Harvard Square. He has since appeared in the New York International Festival of Clown Theater, FestivalD’Ete in Quebec, the General Jackson Showboat at Opryland USA, the Just ForLaughs Festival in Montreal, and The Kennedy Center for the PerformingArts. He was featured in 2018 on The Gong Show with Mike Myers; appeared previously on WOW! The Most Awesome Acts On Earth, an ABC Television Special; The Statler Brothers Show on TNN; CCTV in Beijing, China; and Le Plus Grande Cabaret du Monde on France 2 TV. Michael was the star clown in the national tour of OOPS! The Big Apple Circus Stage Show.
El Diabolero – El Diabolero is an energy-packed street performer with acts including clowning, pantomime, comedy, juggling, object and subject manipulations and improvisations and magic. El Diabolero also performs mind-blowing skills including extremely high tosses and a unique finale called a whip-catch, a one-handed catch using the string of sticks like a whip. He also has a trick called “moment of silence” when he turns into a fountain-like statue with a “diablo” spinning on his fingers while a ball is spinning one of the “diablosticks.”
