Interactive Light Show Blink! Returns to Faneuil Hall November 27

Blink!, the famous light and sound show, will return to deck the halls this holiday season at Faneuil Hall Marketplace beginning with the festive tree lighting on Tuesday, November 27 at 7:30 p.m.

The official Blink! tree lighting will feature appearances by Santa Claus, The City of Boston Community Choir, holiday singers, and the official flipping of the switch to illuminate thousands of twinkling lights synchronized to music.

Linda DeMarco, President of the Faneuil Hall Marketplace Merchants Association, expressed her excitement about the upcoming holiday season. “This year, we truly have a spectacular Blink! show with more songs, more lights and more fun for everyone.”

Beginning November 28, Blink shows will occur every half-hour from 4:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. through January 1, 2019.

In addition to Blink! Faneuil Hall will host a series of holiday events at the Marketplace. See the schedule below.

Nov. 24: Mitten Tree – Through Jan. 1, Visitors are welcome to hang a pair of new mittens or gloves on the Mitten Tree for those less fortunate.

Nov. 24: Selfies with Santa – On Saturdays through Dec. 22, take a selfie with Santa as he strolls through the Marketplace and visits different merchants. Go towww.FaneuilHallMarketplace.comfor Santa’s locations.

Nov. 24: BlinkBoston Photo Contest – Through Jan. 1, take a selfie at the tree and hashtag #blinkboston to enter to win a 4-pack of tickets to a theater performance in Boston including: How the Grinch Stole Christmas, A Charlie Brown Christmas, Cirque Dream Holidaze, Urban Nutcracker and more.

Nov. 27: Blink! Holiday Spectacular on WBZ-TV/CBSBoston at 7:30 p.m.

Dec. 1-2: “Deck The Hall Stroll” – Shoppers will receive a Holiday Stroll card to use throughout the Marketplace as they take advantage of special sales and promotions from participating merchants.

Dec. 15: Kids Weekend featuring the annual Candyland Tournament to benefit Pitching in For Kids and a concert by teen groups throughout the day called the “All You Got Tour.”

Dec. 31-Jan. 1: “The Ice” interactive ice sculpture will be located in the Marketplace to ring in the New Year.
