6:30PM Hidden in Plain Sight at the Nazzaro Center. Stop by 30 North Bennet Street and join NEW Health and the Nazzaro Community Center for their event “Hiding in Plain Sight”. Current North End resident Ross Garrity recently graduated with a Mathematics degree from UMass Amherst and is now working to earn his master’s in education from UMass Boston – but it’s his time as a National spelling bee competitor that he really cherishes and still has a keepsake from the 2008 citywide bee on display in his bedroom, read more on the Boston Globe.

Stop by 25 Parmenter Street as Melnea Cass, the “First Lady (or Mayor) of Roxbury” discusses how Rosa Brown helped guide her in her community organizing efforts.
