Summer is coming and with it, open-air beer and wine gardens on the Greenway! The Rose Kennedy Greenway Conservancy has announced the opening dates for the returning Trillium beer garden at the corner of High Street and Atlantic Avenue, as well as a new wine garden run by City Winery at Dewey Square.
Trillium Garden on the Greenway will open for its third season on the Greenway on Thursday, May 16. The regular hours of operation are Wednesday through Friday 2 p.m. – 10 p.m., Saturday 11 a.m. – 10 p.m., and Sunday 12 p.m. – 6 p.m.
City Winery on the Greenway opened for the season on Wednesday, May 1 and will celebrate with a grand opening on Wednesday, May 15. The regular hours of operation are Wednesday and Friday 3:30 p.m. – 10 p.m., Saturday 1 p.m. – 9 p.m., and Sunday 11 a.m. – 7 p.m.
City Winery will be serving their locally crafted wine on tap, including varieties of reds, whites, and rosé. In addition, they have partnered with Harpoon Brewery to offer locally-made craft beer and cider. There will be live music on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
