The Massachusetts Fallen Heroes Memorial Garden at Fan Pier has a special display for Armed Services Day in Boston, leading up to Memorial Day weekend. The display shows appreciation for our fallen men and woman of the Armed Forces with American Flags representing each of the five branches of our military.
For Memorial Day, the annual military heroes flag garden on Boston Common will feature 37,000 miniature American flags honoring the sacrifices of all fallen Massachusetts service men and women dating back to the Revolutionary War. Flags will be in place on Boston Common from Thursday through sundown on Monday, May 28.
