North End Seniors, based in the Nazzaro Community Center, have enjoyed three special events thanks to the generosity of the NEAA (Ted Tomasone), Representative Aaron Michlewitz, Senator Joe Boncore and Councilor Lydia Edwards.
Besides an enjoyable fun day at Foxwoods, the seniors were also treated to an Easter celebration at Lucia’s Restaurant on Hanover Street and a Mother’s Day luncheon at the Nazzaro Center with food from the China House.
The seniors feel that they are so lucky and grateful for their wonderful friends who make sure they are always in their thoughts and having fun.
One senior said, “Because of their generosity the seniors enjoyed several fun days.”
