Raffle tickets for gift baskets are now on sale at the North End Waterfront Health Center, 332 Hanover Street, for this year’s Taste of the North End.
Each year, health center staff members come together to donate and create lovely baskets in support of this event. Raffle tickets can be purchased outside of the health center leading up to the Taste of the North End, which will take place on Friday, April 26 from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Steriti Rink on Commercial Street. Raffle tickets can also be purchased at the event.
Taste of the North End is an annual night of fun and fundraising, hosted by event partners, Donato Frattarolli and North End Waterfront Health (NEW Health).
KISS-108 and NESN’s Dining Playbook host Billy Costa will return as emcee again this year. Musical entertainment will also be provided by North End favorite, Vanessa Salvucci.
This year’s 2019 “Restauranteur Award” will be presented to longtime Taste of the North End supporters, The Picariello Family, owners of Hanover Street’s iconic bakery, Modern Pastry.
The Taste of the North End benefits the North End Waterfront Health Center’s critical medical and social service programs, as well as other local organizations such as: the Eliot School, St. John School, Harvard-Kent School, North End Against Drugs, North End Athletic Association (NEAA), the North End Music & Performing Arts Center (NEMPAC) and more.
