The March Zoning, Licensing and Construction (ZLC) Committee meeting will be held Tuesday, March 26 at 7 p.m. at the Mariners House.

This month’s agenda features an appeal for a new six-story mixed-use building at the former Prince Postale location at the corner of Salem and Prince Streets. There is also a renewal application for open air parking licenses for the lots at 280-290 Commercial Street and 181 N. Washington Street. See the full agenda below.

Residents’ Association Amends ZLC Policy to Require Neighbor Notification by USPS Mail

The North End / Waterfront Residents’ Association (NEWRA) voted 33-4 to amend the neighbor notification policy to require notification of any zoning, licensing and construction (ZLC) projects by certified mail or first class mail. The notification must be mailed at least 14 days prior to the meeting where the proposed ZLC action will be presented. Read More…
