Today is Tuesday, January 8 and did you know that the North End has approximately 90 liquor licenses? The “Act to Create Economic Vitality in Boston Neighborhoods” aims to expand the number of liquor licenses throughout the city and target them to specific neighborhoods that could use an infusion of economic activity generated by restaurants. Boston currently has 1,188 active liquor licenses, of which 812 are all-alcohol and 376 are wine and malt, or beer, licenses, read the full story on Boston Business Journal
